A few weeks ago in Salmon Arm, BC, Canada, I gave a presentation to 50, under 18 female hockey athletes, on the importance of athletic performance training. The game has become faster, stronger, and much more physical than ever before. There is a rise in athletic injuries at all age demographics, as well as an ever increasing gap between our pro level athletes and our amateurs, in terms of performance parameters, when compared to male counterparts.
